Biography
Swedish tenor Anders Annerholm has
studied at the Royal Academy of Music Opera Programme in London.
He did in 2006 Max in Der Freischütz in Spain, and in 2007 he sang Rinuccio in Royal Academy Opera’s production of Gianni Schicchi. During the autumn
season 2008 he was engaged at Folkoperan in Stockholm to do the role of Camille in The Merry Widow.
Starting off as a baritone focusing on the lieder repertoire,
Anders changed into tenor 1999 after
completing his studies at Operastudio 67 in Stockholm. He gathered a vast stage
experience with free opera companies doing roles as Don José,
Eisenstein, Soliman(Zaide), and during his studies with David Maxwell Anderson at
the RAM, he started to concentrate on the italian repertoire in the
lirico-spinto tenor fach. In 2009 he met his current teacher, David Jones from New York.
Anders
has participated in master classes with Dennis O’Neill, Malcolm
Martineau, with Mirella Freni in the 2006 Accademia Georg Solti, and
participated
in the 2007 Neue Stimmen Orchestral workshop and Helena Döse's
master class in Kungälv, Sweden. As an oratorio singer Anders has
internationally performed in Elijah, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, and has sung Verdi’s Requiem in Snape Maltings.
